To our new readers we bid welcome, and to the regular patrons of
AMERICAN PUBLIC HOUSE REVIEW we say a hardy welcome back. As you know
technical team and creative staff have been diligently at work on an
expansion and redesign of the magazine. During that publishing hiatus
our correspondents have been resting their elbows on an assortment of
wooden surfaces around the country. I am confident that their arm
bending will result in stories that are worthy of the efforts of those
that stayed behind.
Over the brief span of seven issues, along with the music, images,
historic narratives and human interest stories, we will have featured
accounts from over thirty six pubs in twelve states and Great Britain.
None of this would have been possible without the tireless efforts and
talents of our staff and contributors - and the loyal support of our
readers. To all who have been part of this process I express my
